CARPENTER

With a recent influx of work we would like to talk to you if you are a Qualified Experienced Carpenter seeking a new and exciting ongoing opportunity.

Our current projects are a mix of residential renovations and commercial works.

Job Description:

  • General construction and maintenance work;
  • Building refurbishments and renovations 
  • Insurance woks reinstatement 
  • Bathroom renovations;
  • Carpentry, kitchen renovation and installation;

To be successful in this role you must have the following:

  • Solid post qualifications project experience min 5 years (Copy off all your qualifications to be included in your resume);
  • Residential experience;
  • Ability to work as part of a team;
  • Current Driver's License and valid white card essential  HR licence will be an advantage 
  • Own tools and transport - reliable;
  • Other tickets (e.g. EWP, HR Licence) will be an advantage but not mandatory;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Keen eye for detail;
  • Take full pride in your work;
  • Strong knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety systems;
  • You need to be an Australian citizen or permanent resident

  • Help with plastering and finishing for cabinet installations
  • Contribute to building refurbishments with high-quality plastering work

To be successful in this role you must have the following;

  • Full-time work eligibility in Australia
  • Immediate availability to start work
  • Completion of at least Year 10 education
  • Valid driver’s license
  • White Card certification
  • Own vehicle capable of transporting tools 
  • Motivated, organized, and reliable, with a strong work ethic
  • Honest and trustworthy, with a commitment to personal and professional growth
  • Good manual dexterity and physical fitness to handle hands-on, demanding tasks

Admin Assistant

With a recent influx of exciting new projects, Primus Build is looking for a motivated and organised Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment supporting a variety of residential renovations, commercial works, and insurance repair projects.

Job Description:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date files for all active projects
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, quotes, and drawings
  • Ensure all required documentation and approvals are obtained and submitted
  • Follow up with Loss Adjusters and Insurers regarding project status, scope changes, and inspections
  • Coordinate and schedule site inspections in line with project timelines
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the company, Loss Adjusters, Insurers, and clients
  • Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls and emails professionally
  • Perform invoicing, receipting, and general bookkeeping tasks
  • Scan, file, and organise documentation
  • Conduct data entry into company systems and maintain internal registers
  • Order and manage office supplies as needed
     

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Full-time work eligibility in Australia
  • Immediate availability to start work
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative or office support role (construction industry experience preferred but not essential)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
  • A proactive attitude and strong attention to detail
  • Honest, reliable, and committed to supporting the team’s success
  • Valid driver’s license (preferred but not essential)
